The mission of K’CIDADE - Urban Community Support Programmeis to empower vulnerable urban communities in order to improve their livelihoods.
It´s vision is: Communities that stand as active agentes of their own sustainable development.
In order for this to happen, the Programme intends to promote initiatives and dynamics of local development. It will focus on autonomy, active participation, responsibility and empowerment of people, communities and organisations with a view to ensure sustained ownership of the changing processes in which they are involved, based on mobilisation and expansion of their skills. |
